I had my boiler replaced today, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Luke did an excellent job in less time than expected. He was professional, friendly, and very considerate, making sure to take great care of my home and, most importantly, my cat, who must not go outside. The price was very reasonable, significantly lower than other companies I requested quotes from.
I'm a landlord living abroad. Luke liaised with the property manager and myself seamlessly. Other companies were quoting a complete shower replacement. Luke went in and told me these showers often get a cartridge failure, and upon inspection that's what it was. He is honest, professional and reputable.
Luke arrived earlier than expected, worked hard all day and didn't even take a break. Everything was done very professionally and left clean and tidy. After the experience I had waiting around for the previous installer, this was a huge difference and a real relief. I even managed to have a little nap while he was working.
Luke helped us out when we were without heating just before Christmas and dismissed a previous diagnosis by another plumber. He took time to investigate the problem and solved it over a few visits. Luke communicated well and turned up as expected every time.
Had spent weeks trying to find someone to do a tricky job and Luke was very honest from the start on possible solutions, and really clear once he could see what needed doing and the parts that were needed. Would highly recommend and will use for any more plumbing jobs!
Luke was exceptional. Installing a new boiler, he undertook the work with great care, and even managed to get the cupboard unit around the boiler back to how it was! Reasonably priced, friendly and efficient. Appreciated the hints and tips he gave regarding maintenance too.

Luke was one of two plumbers to respond to an emergency call despite about a dozen being contacted. The leak was under the floor. Luke proposed a solution that avoided digging up the floor, running a new supply from the bathroom above with no unsightly pipes. It actually came out cheaper than quoted.
Luke Oakley has been our plumber for over 10 years. He has fitted a new boiler, water tanks, radiators, kitchen hot taps, dishwasher and 2 shower rooms over that period. He turns up as arranged, is tidy in his work and has helped us out at short notice when the heating failed in the winter months.
Luke really helped formulate the best plan and design for my utility and toilet space. He was also mindful of my restricted budget. He project managed all the additional trades required (ground works, electrician and carpenters) and worked fast to get the work completed.
The price came back that evening! I did get 3 other quotes but Luke's detail and knowledge gave me the confidence I wanted. Luke carried out the work all in one day and was very clean and tidy. He explained how the programmer worked and has since followed up with a courtesy call.
The problem was quickly diagnosed, the parts were ordered and fitted within days. I was given up front pricing and he was very neat and tidy. I've recommended to all my friends in my 'mum group'!
Luke was extremely helpful, arriving on time, carrying out the work in a timely and tidy fashion, and offering helpful advice on our other faults. He seems an honest, friendly, helpful tradesperson. A real credit to the trade.

I own Oakley Heating & Plumbing and I've been on the tools for over 15 years, mostly in people's homes around Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough.
I carry out the work myself and I'm your single point of contact. When a job needs more hands, whether that's an electrician, plasterer, tiler or decorator, I use the same people I've worked with for more than ten years, so a bathroom or a full heating system gets done as one job, not five.
I use quality materials, I leave the place tidy, and I'd rather tell you a £40 cartridge will fix it than sell you a new shower.
Some of my customers have been with me for more than a decade. I'd like to keep it that way.
